Princess Merida from Pixar’s Brave will begin meeting guests in Fairytale Gardens at the Magic Kingdom mid-May. (She will also be at Disneyland this summer near it’s a small world) The artist rendering above shows the area themed to the Scottish Highlands where guests will be able to participate in activities while waiting. In addition to Merida, her three little brothers will be joining her - in bear form. These puppeteer-controlled bears will be a first for a meet and greet.

In order to make way for Princess Merida’s arrival, Rapunzel will be leaving her current area on April 15. She will still be meeting guests on the “outskirts” of Adventureland. Rapunzel will find a home later this year once Fairytale Hall opens in Fantasyland (replacing the current Snow White’s Scary Adventures dark ride).
