While construction continues on the exteriors throughout Fantasyland, much of the interior decor at Be Our Guest Restaurant is already in place. Three chandeliers hang in the main dining room, the largest measuring twelve feet in length and eleven feet across with 80 lights and 100 large crystals. The two smaller chandeliers on each side measure 9.5 feet in length and eight feet across with 50 lights each. The trio of chandeliers are inspired by ones seen in the dining room in Beast’s Castle.

First Look: Interior Concept Art for Test Track - Presented by Chevrolet
Earlier this morning Walt Disney World held their “What’s New, What’s Next” event. On the showroom floor were these brand new pieces of concept art for Test Track, which reopens fall 2012. The newly re-imagined attraction will focus on the design process within the queue where guests can create their own concept car. The information will then be loaded onto a card and scanned before guests get into their “SimCar”. The actual ride will score your design choices on the Test Track circuit, as pictured above. The ride will feature brand new digital and physical show scenes, all with an “electronic” flair. Guests will then be able to interact with their car design in a re-imagined post show, along with checking out the latest Chevrolet car models.
Disneyland Shanghai - UPDATED
This brand new artwork displayed above has just been uncovered after it was shown in a special tribute to Bob Iger, organised by the National Committee of U.S - China relations. The downside is that this presentation took place over 6 months ago, so they are a little old but were never released to the public.
You will notice in the first picture on the right hand side the Skull Rock, in Adventureland. It seems to have confirmed that the new version of Pirates of Caribbean envisioned for HKDL by Imagineers Tim Delaney and Tom Morris will be built at Shanghai Disneyland. On the left, there is a large futuristic building in Tomorrowland which is supposed to be the one for the TRON motorbike coaster that was previously rumoured, in addition you will notice the rumoured maze to the right of the castle, on a similar scale to the one at Disneyland Paris based on the Adventures of Alice in Wonderland.
The newly envisioned entrance plaza looks incredible, the section between the entrance to Disneyland Shanghai and Central Plaza will be totally indoor. One thing to notice in the last picture is the expanses of water in front of the castle and around Central Plaza which could lead to a nighttime spectacular on a similar or larger scale to the new show which just debuted at Disneyland Paris.
Fresh news from Shanghai Disneyland was confirmed today as works on the Disneyland Shanghai site is apparently “speeding ahead”. A Disneyland Shanghai press conference has taken place. In addition, Bob Weis, SDL Main show producer revealed on his site that Bob Iger was in China recently to meet Chinese officials.
This is all very exciting and it seems that Disneyland Shanghai is making great progress, and if it all turns out like the images above then it will stand tall as possibly one of the best Disney Resorts! I cannot wait to visit in 2015!!
